My name is Ilya Khoteev, and I am the founder and creative director of IK Studios, a boutique photography and videography studio based in New York City. For over a decade, I have had the privilege of capturing some of the most meaningful and elegant moments in the lives of discerning couples across Manhattan, the Hamptons, and the greater tristate area.

My journey into photography began in childhood and deepened during my formal studies at community college in California, where I spent countless hours in the darkroom mastering film development and printing. That hands-on foundation taught me patience, precision, and a true appreciation for the craft of image-making.

Upon moving to New York, I joined Fred Marcus Studio, one of the city’s most respected luxury wedding photography houses. There, I photographed over 100 high-end weddings and portraits for Manhattan’s elite clientele, mastering natural light, studio lighting, and flash techniques while thriving in the fast-paced, high-stakes environment that only a New York wedding can offer.

In 2021, I founded IK Studios to bring a more personalized, cinematic, and elevated approach to wedding storytelling. What started as a solo operation has grown into a refined production studio trusted by affluent couples who value authenticity, artistry, and impeccable execution. From intimate Manhattan ceremonies to grand celebrations with budgets ranging from $50,000 to over $250,000, I and my team have captured over 100+ luxury events.
